Choose these three models by stock plan and site fit. The IA-1760 is the shortest and shallowest listed option in this comparison; the IA-1960 adds 90 L while keeping the same listed 730 mm depth; the IA-2000 adds another 100 L but increases depth to 840 mm. That depth change can matter more to a narrow Ghana shop aisle or delivery doorway than the extra 40 mm of cabinet length.
All figures below come from the current ICEAGE commercial chest-freezer product page and product record. They are quotation inputs, not a substitute for the latest model data sheet, shipment configuration, Ghana market-access checks or a measured site survey.

Compare the Three Listed Rows First
| Model | Listed capacity | Listed power | Listed temperature | Outer dimensions (L × D × H) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IA-1760 | 560 L | 170 W | -24 to 0°C | 1760 × 730 × 900 mm |
| IA-1960 | 650 L | 220 W | -24 to 0°C | 1960 × 730 × 900 mm |
| IA-2000 | 750 L | 255 W | -24 to 0°C | 2000 × 840 × 900 mm |
The product page lists direct cooling, manual temperature control and top-opening construction for the family. It also lists glass-top and solid-door options and notes that production-batch specifications should be reconfirmed. The model name alone cannot establish lid, basket count, inner dimensions, gross weight or loading capacity.
Shortlist IA-1760 When Length and Access Are Tight
The IA-1760's listed 1760 × 730 mm plan is the smallest of the three. It may be the first row to review when the store needs more than the 150–450 L group but has a restricted wall run, entrance or service aisle.
That does not automatically make it “easy to install.” Measure the complete delivery route: truck unloading point, external gate, corridor, turn, door frame, threshold, counter obstruction and final position. Add handling allowance and the actual packed dimensions once the supplier returns them. The listed cabinet width alone cannot prove that a crated unit will pass.
For the stock plan, convert weekly cases into peak occupied volume, then leave the operational clearance required by the buyer's loading and temperature procedure. Nominal litres are not the same as usable merchandise capacity.

Shortlist IA-1960 When 650 L Fits the Same Listed Depth Band
The IA-1960 is listed at 1960 × 730 × 900 mm and 650 L. Compared with IA-1760, the public row adds 200 mm of length and 90 L of nominal capacity while keeping the same listed depth and height.
This can be useful where the shop has wall length but wants to preserve the same 730 mm depth line. Verify that the extra length does not block a doorway, cashier route, socket, column or cleaning access. Also compare the 220 W listed power with the exact electrical design returned for the quoted production unit; it is not an energy-consumption forecast.
No exact IA-1960 product image is used as evidence here because the currently stored media duplicates another model-family view. The specification row and latest supplier data sheet remain the approval sources.
Shortlist IA-2000 When 750 L and the Deeper Cabinet Fit
The IA-2000 is listed at 2000 × 840 × 900 mm and 750 L. The length is only 40 mm greater than IA-1960, but the depth is 110 mm greater. Draw that 840 mm rectangle on the real shop plan before treating the two models as near equivalents.
The deeper cabinet can affect the customer aisle, lid-opening position, reach, rear/side clearance, trolley movement and cleaning route. These effects require the exact lid and current installation guide; no universal clearance is stated here.

The 255 W public power value belongs to the listed row. Ask for the current electrical nameplate data, voltage/frequency configuration, plug or connection, starting requirements and circuit recommendation before site approval.
Draw the Ghana Shop Plan at Full Scale
Start with one measured plan that shows:
- clear doorway and corridor widths;
- turns and level changes on the delivery route;
- final cabinet rectangle by exact quoted model;
- lid movement and product-loading side;
- customer, staff, trolley and cleaning routes;
- nearby walls, columns, counters and heat sources;
- socket or connection point and isolation access;
- drainage or defrost-water handling plan;
- service access required by the current installation guide.
Use the same drawing in the distributor quote, dealer approval and delivery booking. A sales photo or total floor area is not enough to prove site fit.
For small shops still below this capacity band, the published 150, 250 and 350 L chest-freezer comparison is the correct starting point. A 560 L model should never be forced into a store whose stock and route support a smaller unit.
Separate Listed Power From the Electrical Approval
The values 170 W, 220 W and 255 W are useful for comparing the public model rows. They are not daily-kWh figures and provide no statement of peak starting current, protective-device selection or actual voltage quality at one Ghana location.
Ask the Ghana electrical contractor or responsible engineer to verify the supply at the final point. The supplier should return the exact nameplate and electrical sheet for the production configuration, especially where voltage, frequency or plug customization is requested.
Ghana's Energy Commission publishes current energy-efficiency and appliance requirements. The importer should check the rules, registration/label obligations and enforcement position that apply at the time of shipment. This article does not decide compliance from a watt figure or product-page description.
Decide the Lid and Merchandising Role Separately
ICEAGE lists glass-top and solid-door options for the chest-freezer family. A glass top may support customer viewing in some retail layouts; a solid door can suit other storage and handling priorities. Neither is assigned automatically to IA-1760, IA-1960 or IA-2000 in this comparison.
Return the lid requirement, basket/divider need, product categories, access pattern and branding in the RFQ. If the unit is for frozen meat, seafood, ice cream or mixed packaged foods, attach the stock map. The supplier can then quote the model and options without guessing the retail workflow.
The article on glass-lid vs solid-lid chest freezers for Ghana retail covers that separate decision. Use the result as an option line on the exact-model shortlist.
Normalize the Three Quotations
Ask ICEAGE to return the same fields for all shortlisted models:
| Return field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Exact model/revision | Prevents family-level substitution |
| Current capacity and inner/outer dimensions | Confirms stock and site fit |
| Net/gross weight and packed dimensions | Controls handling and route approval |
| Temperature range and controls | Matches the frozen-stock requirement |
| Electrical nameplate and plug | Supports local electrical review |
| Refrigerant and charge information | Supports current import/service documentation |
| Lid, baskets and dividers | Defines the retail workflow |
| Spares/service documents | Supports distributor after-sales planning |
| Branding, packing and quantity | Completes the commercial offer |
| Destination and trade terms | Supports freight and landed review |
Put “OPEN” against missing fields. Landed price becomes comparable only after the three returns describe the same option scope.
Create a Dealer-Facing Selection Rule
The distributor can turn the approved data into a simple intake:
- Choose IA-1760 only after the 1760 × 730 mm listed cabinet and packed route pass.
- Choose IA-1960 only after the extra 200 mm length and 220 W row fit the plan and electrical review.
- Choose IA-2000 only after the 840 mm depth, 750 L stock plan and 255 W row are accepted.
- Escalate any missing lid, weight, packed-size, electrical or service field before taking a deposit.
This is more useful than telling every dealer that the largest model is best. It connects the sale to the real shop and reduces delivery-day surprises.

FAQ
Is IA-2000 only 40 mm larger than IA-1960?
It is listed 40 mm longer, but also 110 mm deeper. Compare the full 2000 × 840 mm plan, not length alone.
Does the listed wattage tell me daily electricity use?
No. It is a public model-row power value, not a daily energy calculation. Request current electrical data and evaluate the real operating condition.
Are these models automatically approved for Ghana?
No. The importer and responsible local parties must verify current appliance, energy, electrical, refrigerant, labeling and customs requirements for the actual shipment.
